After working for four years in Cork University Hospital and St.Vincent’s in Dublin, I moved to the South East in 2003.

I am on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council.

My Post-Graduate qualifications include MRCPI in General Medicine, MICGP in General Practice, Diploma in Child Health, Certificate in Family Planning, and Advanced Certificate in Long-Acting Contraception (counselling & fitting of coils and implants).

I strive to keep up to date by regular attendance at Medical Education meetings, as well as my own personal professional development.

Our practice takes students from the University of Limerick Medical School for clinical tutoring, which I enjoy, as teaching is a great way of keeping up to date with medical advances.

For me, one of the nicest aspects of being a GP, is the variety of the job.

I have the opportunity to manage a plethora of medical problems on a daily basis, looking after patients at all stages of life, and not uncommonly several generations of the same family, here at Catherine Street surgery.
